I'm gay and my parents hate me for that. Why?

That's harsh and you sound like an extremely strong-hearted guy. Your parents should want you to be happy, and in my opinion, after doing what they have they aren't parents. However, they raised you so that's probably something easier said then done from your point of view. Anyway, they have no reason to hate you; stay strong and rock on dude.
