When do I hear back from the employers, after applying with a CV?

Unfortunately the trend is not have any acknowledgement of an application / decline for a job. I would follow up an application with a phone call to confirm receipt of your e-mail. If you were short listed, you'd hear something. Remember to check your SPAM box!
