Any chance with this guy? (kinda short question)?

OK, so i like this guy and he is cute, nice, sweet, fun, etc., and i met him only twice. My friend asked me what he though of me and he said that i am shy so if he got to know me, then he might like me. He also said that i am cute, even though that does not necessarily mean that he likes me..... so do u think that i have any chance with this guy? (BTW, i am almost 15 and he is 17, but he said so himself that our age difference does not exactly matter...)
