Why won't my "bump" app on my iphone work with the one on my i Touch?

So...i just got the iphone 4 graduation and i'm trying to copy my pics the easy way. I'm using the bump app and it always sorry, unsuccessful bump or no network connection but my network thing is fine? Any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong. Operator error?! :-) Thnx ya'll
